Guardians of the Neighborhood

Fuzby is one of many stray cats who live in the Neighborhood, but she's far from neighborly. Unfortunately for the creatures around her, that's just how she likes it. Nothing brings this scrappy cat more joy than being number one! But when a mysterious short cat suddenly appears and threatens her dominance, Fuzby must team up with a young kitten named Charlie and flee from her home. Together they face all sorts of challenges, fish, schools, and even water! But Fuzby soon realizes that her biggest challenge…

…is dealing with herself.

Based on cats in the author’s own neighborhood, Guardians of the Neighborhood takes readers on a wild adventure told through a feline's eyes that’s sure to delight lovers of wholesome stories of all ages.

Guardians of the Neighborhood: The Scent of Distant Winds

Many moons have passed since Charles first came to the Neighborhood, but a lot has changed since then. Now, the young cat has grown into his big paws and floppy ears, and his eyes no longer shine a kittenish blue. But more importantly, Charles now has a great responsibility; he must finish his quest to find Riccardo's former assistant, Mister, who has vowed to destroy the United Neighborhood and its ways. While this journey takes the young cat farther from home than he could have ever dreamed, Fuzby inwardly grapples with her place in life, as well as her anxieties over her best friend’s departure. She and Ralph struggle to hold their new society together, as waves of new animals are joining the Neighborhood daily... not all of whom have noble intentions. It's a race against time for the Guardians of the Neighborhood, because it seems if Mister doesn't destroy their way of life…

…their own citizens may do it instead.
